  1. Oh, what a charming chimera! I wish it really existed. And it's so nice to 'see' the drawing grow and develop in this way!

  2. Thanks David, but, i want to make it more agressive, you use the deep colors like brown,copper-colored,red, they are more deeper, do you think the color are the problem, maybe?

  3. Susan, as I promised, I've taken another careful look at your chimera. About the colours: yes, I think that you're right that these could be the key. In such a situation, red (as you have used it) is always good for fierce eyes! Blues and turquoises have more of a decorative 'jewellery' feel to them, and are calming in their effect - very good for some situations, but maybe more difficult if you wish to express that fierce aggression. Aggression is about passion and strong emotions! That's why all those warm bronzes and oranges and reds help to convey the effect.

If you can, and have image software of some kind that allows you to do this, it would be well worth scanning your drawing in and experimenting with seeing it in different colours. The colours in an image can radically alter how we react to it emotionally. Is it calm and peaceful, or passionate and aggressive? The colours as much as the subject prompt us to feel these things!

Good luck with this, and let me know if you think that I might be able to help you further.

    David
